Happy new year to you all. I hope you had a calm and happy festive season. But, I understand that not everyone will have had a good break. For some people this time of year, even after Christmas, can be every difficult. Thoughts of loss, being in isolated, Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD), or being back with depression or anxiety about what a new year can bring will be there for a lot of people. It can be hard to look positively on the future if the world seems dull and down to you. The light of the day seems to short, and you struggle to get up and motivated.
Talking to someone could just help you in a time of need. We can look at what is pushing you to think the way you do. To work with and understand what it is that is ticking in your head. The idea of counselling is to help you find a sort of peace in your mind. Why not try to change your thinking.
